Hi, I'm
AJ Chaikovsky
I build
inference engines
CS + Business at USC. I love taking an idea from a blank file to something real people use.

Things I've built
From an inference engine written from scratch to an AI tool a real brokerage uses every day. These are the projects I'm proudest of. Live demos are coming soon!
02 / About
A little about me
Hey! I'm AJ, a Computer Science and Business Administration student at USC (class of 2027) in Los Angeles. I'm happiest when I'm building: a weekend hackathon, a side project that gets out of hand, or a tool that a real business ends up using every day.
Lately I've been digging into how LLMs work under the hood. I wrote my own inference engine to find out, and I've been building AI systems that hold up in production, not just in a demo. I care a lot about the unglamorous parts too: tests for the edge cases, pipelines you can safely rerun, and security you never have to think about.
The business half of my degree shapes how I build. I like solving problems people actually have, and I'm always looking for the next big thing to build. If you're working on something exciting, I'd love to hear about it.
